Nas, A$AP Rocky, and Jennifer Hudson are teaming up, but this time on the big screen.The music superstars have joined the cast of Monster, which will be led by Roots actor Kelvin Harrison Jr. and co-star Tim Blake Nelson, John David Washington, Jennifer Ehle, and Jeffery Wright.

Monster is about a 17-year-old in Harlem, played by Harrison, who is being charged with felony murder for a crime he denies committing, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Dr. Dre & Ice Cube Cleared From Wrongful Death Lawsuit After Suge Knight's Hit-And-Run

Dr. Dre and Ice Cube have been cleared from responsibility for the hit-and-run that led to the death of Terry Carter, a judge has ruled, according to TMZ.

Carter’s family filed a wrongful death and negligence lawsuit against the N.W.A members as well as Suge Knight when the former head of Death Row Records reportedly ran over Carter at a fast-food restaurant near the set of the N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton in January of last year. The hit-and-run killed Carter and injured two other men, including Cle “Bone” Sloan.

Queen B looked quite comfortable as she twerked to the beat in a glittery two-piece bronze number while Jay Z smiled and rapped.

She said that their romantic connection began in September 2015.

'We would take our son to Magic Mountain together. But sometimes Nick would say, "Oh, there's too much traffic," and he'd just play with Nicholas in his room.'

R. Kelly Is Dropping A Christmas Album In October

R. Kelly has established himself as an R&B great, but has yet to do what many of the legends have, release a Christmas album. Well, the Chicago star is set to do just that with 12 Nights of Christmas, due out October 21, according to the Chicago Sun Times.




The project has 12 tracks (appropriately) and will be a mix of traditional holiday favorites and original music. He’s been working on a Christmas album since at least 2013, according to an interview with Rap-Up, but, at the time, was in no hurry to force it.

Jay Z Is Producing The Richard Pryor Biopic

Jay Z‘s new television production deal is already making some big waves. It has been announced that “retired drug dealer” is producing the upcoming Richard Pryor biopic.

       

The announcement was made alongside the news that Jay Z would also be producing a docu-series on Kalief Browder. The two projects come from a partnership that Jay has formed with television heavyweights The Weinstein Company.
