Collabo; Jeezy & Jay Z Album In The Works?

Jeezy just released his Trap or Die 3 LP, but there’s another album that might pique fans’ interest. During an exclusive interview with Rap-Up, Young Jizzle opened up about the possibility of a joint project with Jay Z.

“We talked about it after we went on tour,” recalls Jeezy. “We had a couple of words about doing a project like that. At the time, he got busy and I got busy but there was definitely a conversation had about us doing some type of project whether it was an EP, a street album, or whatever.”

A joint project would require a lot of time, but Jeezy isn’t ruling it out yet. “We would have to go in because it is me and him, so we would have to really go in and find a happy medium as far as the sound,” he says. “But I definitely don’t think it’s impossible.”

While a future collab is possible, Jigga didn’t make it on Trap or Die 3. Why? “It didn’t fit this body of work,” explains Jeezy. “Me and him both agreed on that.” According to Jeezy, a sample thwarted their collaboration. “There’s no samples on this album,” he adds. “It’s just hard, 808s.”

Though Hov isn’t on the album, that doesn’t mean he wasn’t involved. “He was one of the first people who told me that ‘All There’ with Bankroll [Fresh] was crazy,” says Jeezy. “Matter of fact, he made me play it for him like six times like, ‘Play it again.’ He was like, ‘That’s a record.'”
